True Story Theater Performs at World AIDS Day Celebration

In recognition of World AIDS Day, The Dimock Center’s Community Care Center hosted a day of activities and presentations with a focus education and prevention.

Staff promoted HIV Rapid Testing by sponsoring a theatrical event called "Stories of Truth: Knowing the Truth Will Set You Free and Help Stop the Spread of HIV.”

The performance was presented by The True Story Theater, a Boston area theater company.  The True Story Theater company employs an improvisational method called playback theatre that encourages audience members share stories from their lives, which the company members then use as the basis of an improvised performance for the audience.
