After 37 very special years at The Dimock Center, Carol Harrington says farewell. Mrs. Harrington started working in Adult Medicine at Dimock in August of 1973 an was the only nurse in that department at the time. She worked with Dr. Herb Dreyer for 30 of those 37 years and he was the only full time physician on staff at that time. They both agree that they have seen a lot of changes at The Dimock Center.
On Saturday, October 30th, Mrs. Harrington will be honored at Steppin' Out 2010 with the Ronald M. Leavell Award. This award is given to a special individual who has dedicated their lives to the people of Boston and The Dimock Center. High standards, respect and dignity are just a few words that come to mind when thinking about Mrs. Harrington. She will be sorely missed but we wish her well on her long deserved retirement.
